Support after sexual or racial harassment at work

A private clinical space to discuss the effect on your health and what support you need next.

You can ask for care without telling everyone

Unwanted sexual behaviour, racial abuse or other harassment at work can affect a person's sense of safety and confidence. It may involve someone at work, a client, a customer or contact connected to the job.

You can ask our team about an appointment without describing sensitive details. We can first explain how the service works and how information is handled.

The focus of therapy

Your psychologist can help you discuss distress, sleep, worry, changes in confidence or difficulty being around reminders of what happened. The approach is agreed with you following an assessment.

You can request a language preference or discuss other factors that would help you feel able to attend. Let us know about these needs before booking rather than assuming every practitioner will be suitable.

Support and reporting are separate choices

Therapy is not a workplace investigation. Your psychologist does not decide whether conduct meets a legal definition or direct the outcome of a complaint. A union, legal adviser or the appropriate regulator can explain reporting and employment options.

Your clinician will explain confidentiality, its legal limits and any relevant safety responsibilities. Discuss concerns about disclosure before sharing documents or agreeing to contact with others.

WorkCover arrangements

For many primary psychological injury claims first notified from 1 July 2026, sexual and racial harassment have particular claim requirements. The insurer can explain the information and claim form needed for your circumstances.

Treatment funding is checked separately from an employer's internal complaint process. We confirm appointment costs before you agree to proceed.
